The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

This is the Church of Jesus Christ. He is at the head of the Church and he has a prophet on earth for us today together with 12 apostles. We believe that God is our father in heaven and Jesus Christ is his son. That they are two separate persons. We believe Jesus Christ is alive today. That he will come back again. We follow his example in all we can through our great imperfections as humans.

We believe in baptism by immersion that represents the burial of our past sins and the birth of a new life. We believe that families can be together forever. Not just into death due you part. That Mother-Father and children can be together forever in the presence of God after this life. This ceremony is performed in the temples.

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ

This is a book from God relating the words of the prophets here in the American Continent. It is a book in which God speaks to his people. It relates the good things that happen from following God and the bad things from not obeying him. It recounts the history of a family that was driven out of
Jerusalem and guided by the hand of God to come to the American Continent.

This book relates the story of the visit of Jesus Christ to the American Continent. It speaks about how he showed the marks of his wounds to the people here. Also he taught the same principles of the gospel to the people here in the
Americas.

In order to get a free copy of this book you can visit www.Mormon.org.

California: Proposition 8. Voter’s Rights? Do they still exist?

I wonder why is it that people are even allowed to vote if almost immediately their vote is slapped back at their face. It is the rights of one group of people verses the rights of another. The right to have your vote counted is an essential part in the freedom of the
United States.

How can a country be free and serve everyone’s rights? Is it virtually impossible? YES. In order for everyone to enjoy some level of freedom we need to learn to give and take as for any relationship to work.

For this country to work there is a need for compromise. Not everyone is going to be perfectly satisfied. If as citizens we don’t accept this notion we are in the wrong place.

The same-sex marriage group are throwing a tantrum and destroying property from the Mormon Church. How is that respecting freedom within the boundaries of the law?

The Pains of Love

The greatest pains related to love are the pains of fear. Accepting that life cannot be lived without fear, then we must learn to manage the fears in an effective / healthy way. Exercising is a way to help strengthen the muscles in the brain. The brain manages the emotions in our body.

We need to have strength in our arms to lift a heavy box. We must have strength in our mind / brain to handle intense emotions. Some of the most intense emotions we face in our life are those related with love / fear. Love is one of the most significant and supportive emotions / feelings we can have in our life.

An Eternal Companion, Married for Ever, Not Just Until Death due You Part

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believes that husband and wife can be married for all eternity and not just until death due you part. That families are meant to be together for ever.
The church has special Temples and ceremonies that they perform in them to unite husband and wife for all eternity. They believe that God wants families to be together forever. This sometimes scares people because they don’t like their families. I can guarantee you that nevertheless there are people in the church who live happy together. Not without challenges of course. I strongly encourage you to look into www.mormon.org for more information. It is a wonderful website that will also approach questions such as where we come from, and what is our purpose in life.

How to be a good receptionist

One can read the job ad descriptions for Receptionist and Administrative Assistance. Those always give me a good idea on what I need to learn or improve on. That way I am ready for the job market in case I need to jump out there again.
Also, you can earn a higher pay the more knowledge you have of all those little things receptionists do. Can you imagine going to an interview not only having the skills they ask for but the skills of 100 other ads out there? It can only bring you a better ability to get a fulfilling job and a fulfilling pay.
I make a goal a week to work on something and I also ask my supervisor to teach me new things and give me new projects. It is great.

Patience, not a virtue, a developed talent

Patience is the ability to resist acting in a certain way when a person is facing a certain event in life. Patience is a skill, not a virtue. It is admired in people who have the ability to use it in areas where the admirer feels they wouldn’t be able to apply it.
The way to gain patience is by loosing it. Once you go through the event or situation that made you angry, the second round of the same situation will be handled differently. Therefore, by loosing it the first time, you gain it the second time. While many situations in life are only lived once, patience can still be applied in new situations because of similar encounters faced previously.

The War in our Heads

I was told once that the hardest battles we fight in life are the ones within our own conscience. This said, we may not find the skills to fight those battles. There are little tricks here and there to help make that battle less brutal. We try to cope with the pressures in life that happen to us. Some people resort to methods that later lead them into even worse problems in life this not solving or helping any of the initial problems but just adding more weight to it / them.
Just to ad an example of what I went through at a job. I keep blaming myself for not handling the pressure better. I worked at a company where I truly put my soul into it. Mind, heart, and everything I could. After a couple of weeks new into this job my boss started to get nasty in his behavior towards me. He asked me suddenly to become a mind reader of how to make the company run without proper training. The last Friday I got into work at 4:30 AM and by the time it was 5:30 my boss was screaming at me telling me that I was going to be there until 10:00 PM until the work got done or until I figured out a way to make the project work.
I keep trying to figure out how I could handle better working with people with almost impossible demands and with a slave-based attitude towards the workers. If you have any ideas of what a person is suppose to do under those circumstances, can you please send me some free advice? I would appreciate it.

My Blog Called Stupid! Insipid! Freedom of Speech

We do live in a country with freedom of speech and technically not much can be done when people express their opinion on another’s person’s work.

In a commentary placed on my Blog, my writing was insulted or given some special wording as a right of freedom of expression. I accepted the comment and others who have so liberally expressed an opinion. While many people are respectful of my writing and give nice comments, which I thank them each now for it, I have to give the right to others to say not so nice or respectful comments.

I, sometimes, wonder about the whole meaning of the word freedom, or the phrase, freedom of speech. Just as some people are given the freedom to own a gun, (own the freedom of speech,) we would never want the person to use the gun to harm another person unless it was in defense of one’s own safety.

So, how is it, that we so carelessly go around shooting insulting words willing to harm the sensitivity and well mental being of another person? Is it done in personal defense? Did I, per say, write anything in my Blog that invaded the mental safety of a person to feel the need to shoot me with insulting words?
