Let’s Contribute to Identity Robbery, Why Not?

Published by natachaandrews at 8:00 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

A person bought a computer on EBAY. That computer contained data of millions of bank customers. It had not been erased before it was sold. The information was found in the back up of the computer. The Bank involved says to be taking the matter seriously. Fortunately the information did not fall in any person’s hands that would have created havoc out of the very sensitive information found on the system. For more information about this incident you can visit the weblink to the BBC News. They will explain more about which Bank and who bought the computer and how it was sold by a third party.

My take on it is that no matter what company has your information we must really be alert in checking our credit history even 2 to 3 times a month. Human errors / or not so errors / are made by anyone and everyone these days. Don’t trust in the security promises of any institution.
