Can people sell through a blog?
I am most curious and would like to learn about how people use blogs to make sells. Do any of you bloggers know? I see a lot of adds asking for people to do marketing through blogs but I have no clue how to initiate that. I also see many people using Facebook and Myspace for marketing purposes and would like to know what does that mean or what is it that people do when they market through social channels. Also, I think I am going to try to put together a website about events in
Utah. I cannot find one website that mentions all the events. They are all scattered and sometimes you just find some random mentioning in a job ad on craigslist asking for people to work at that event. Amazing to me.
The way to use blogs to sell is to drive traffic to your site. You can do this by writing blog entries about your product, service, or upcoming event and then adding a link to that specific page.
I’ve written blog posts about crafting articles I have on another site, and seen increased page views because of it! Hope this helped
